WWE confirmed the four runner ups in the women's Royal Rumble match: Asuka and Nikki Cross from Raw and Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez from SmackDown as the four participants in the Elimination Chamber match. The fifth and sixth spots were decided in two fatal four-way matches. The first took place on the February 3rd episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where Natalya defeated Shayna Baszler, Shotzi, and Zelina Vega.
The second match occurred on the February 6th episode of Monday Night Raw, where the returning Carmella defeated Candice LeRae, "Michin" Mia Yim, and Piper Niven. The following week, both Becky Lynch and Bayley expressed their desire to compete in the Elimination Chamber match, however, Belair interrupted and stated that if they wanted to compete in the match, they should go through her first. Pearce then scheduled a triple threat match for that night, where if Bayley or Lynch won, then they would be added to the match, however, if Belair won, neither would be added; Belair was victorious in that match.
Liv Morgan and Natalya began the match. Raquel Rodriguez entered third. After back-and-forth action between the three, Nikki Cross entered fourth. Cross dominated the opponents and performed a Crossbody from the top of a pod onto them. Then, Carmella entered fifth and attempted to pin Morgan and Natalya, but both kicked out. Rodriguez drove Cross through a chamber pod, brought her back in the ring, and pinned her for an elimination.
Liv Morgan performed a Sunset bomb off the top of a pod from Rodriguez, and Carmella pinned her for a nearfall. Asuka entered last and dominated Carmella, driving her into the chamber walls. Asuka performed a sliding kick on Carmella and faced Rodriguez, applying an octopus hold, which Rodriguez escaped. Asuka sent her into the turnbuckles. Natalya applied a Sharpshooter on Morgan while Asuka applied an Asuka lock on Morgan, who passed out, resulting in Morgan's elimination.
Then, Carmella performed a superkick on Natalya and eliminated her. Asuka and Carmella double-teamed Rodriguez to eliminate her. In the end, Asuka applied submission lock on Carmella, for which Carmella tapped out and Asuka earn herself a Raw Women's Championship match against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39.
