Reported Plans For Money In The Bank Winner And Cash-In Details

As first reported by Daily Mail Sport, WWE announced that The O2 in London will host Money In The Bank on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Money In The Bank marks the first WWE Premium Live Event to be held in London in over two decades. Now, we got an update about the Money In The Bank premium live event.

According to Xero News reports, unlike previous MITB winners, this year's Money in the Bank winner will have a successful cash-in. WWE fans are disappointed with the MITB run of Otis and Austin Theory's bizarre cash-in on the United States Championship.

WWE Backstage Reaction To Mercedes Monè NJPW Debut

Mercedes Monè (known as Sasha Banks in WWE) made her NJPW debut at the recent Wrestle Kingdom 17 event. She was last seen in WWE in May 2022, when she walked out of RAW along with Naomi. A series of dream bouts await Monè in NJPW.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reported about Sasha Banks' NJPW debut. He stated that WWE isn't worried about Sasha Banks possibly wrestling for All Elite Wrestling. Dave Meltzer noted that feeling backstage in WWE is that Sasha Banks will wrestle a bunch of matches in NJPW and end up coming back to WWE.

“I also know from WWE that they are very strongly under the impression that she (Mercedes Monè) will not wrestle for AEW. They think that shes coming back at some point, she’ll get this out of her system, she’ll do her NJPW matches, — & then come back.”

John Cena's WrestleMania Opponent Reportedly Changed By WWE Management

John Cena is one of WWE's most iconic faces throughout history and has taken a step back from performing full-time to focus on his Hollywood career. Recently, upcoming superstars like Logan Paul and Austin Theory have both called out the 16-time World Champion John Cena for a match.

According to Fightful Select reports, WWE higher-ups originally wanted John Cena to face the current United States Champion Austin Theory. Later, they changed to Logan Paul as a possible opponent for John Cena at WrestleMania 39.

"John Cena’s status was also unclear to us, and internal conversation shifted from Austin Theory to Logan Paul recently." (H/T: GiveMeSport
