Matt Riddle WWE Return Update

The Original Bro Matt Riddle violated the company's wellness policy in December and was written off from WWE television. His last match took place on the December 5, 2022, edition of Monday Night Raw, where he teamed up with Kevin Owens to challenge for The Usos for Undisputed Tag Team Titles. Now, we got an update about the former US Champion Matt Riddle return to WWE.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the former Raw Tag Team Champion Riddle is advertised for the February 13th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. Several other superstars have been also advertised alongside for the show.

"Talents being locally advertised for the 2/13 WWE Monday Night Raw at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY are Bobby Lashley, Bianca Belair, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Johnny Gargano and Matt Riddle. No matches have yet been announced locally for the event," stated Mike Johnson.

Reported Reason For WWE Raw Superstar Absence On WWE TV

WWE Superstar Doudrop has not been seen on TV in almost four months. Doudrop (fka Piper Niven) performed for the company's now-retired British brand, NXT UK, before making her main roster debut. She is of Scottish descent, and like many international stars, she needs a visa to work in the United States.

According to a recent reports from Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio, the former 24/7 Champion Doudrop is one of many British stars who are having issues with their work permits.

"Yes, it’s visa. They went they’re doing they went back for over visa situations. They got to get the visas taken care of. So there’s a lot of people, a lot of The Gallus boys and Tyler Bate, I don’t know that all of them fall into this category. Piper Niven’s [Doudrop] been gone is another one." (H/T: Ringside News)

Naomi Returning To WWE?

Recently, Sasha Banks made her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17 event. Now, a new report states that the former SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi is expected to make her return to WWE under the current regime. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that, as far as to state that it was a certainty that Naomi would be returning to WWE.

"They’re not going to New Japan, Naomi, and Bayley. Of course, there is no official information on Naomi, but my impression is she will be returning. Actually, you can report that my belief is that she will be returning because she will certainly be returning to WWE. I will just say that. Other than that, I don’t know what is going on," said Meltzer. [H/T: RingsideNews]
