Cesaro Reportedly Rejected New WWE Contract Offer

The former United States Champion Cesaro shockingly left the WWE after the company failed to sign him the new contract as per the report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

Since this isn't the case of a release, there is no 90-day non-compete clause. This means The Swiss Superman Cesaro is free to sign with any other promotions as his WWE contract is expired.

Now, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select also reported the same regarding the Cesaro's WWE departure. Sapp also further noted that the immediate reaction backstage was "disappointment and dismay" due to the fact that he was one of the most liked WWE Superstars on the roster.

While the Vince McMahon's promotion was interested in keeping the former tag team champion but, he seemed to have different plans for himself as he rejected WWE's new contract offer.
