Since this isn't the case of a release, there is no 90-day non-compete clause. This means The Swiss Superman Cesaro is free to sign with any other promotions as his WWE contract is expired.
Now, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select also reported the same regarding the Cesaro's WWE departure. Sapp also further noted that the immediate reaction backstage was "disappointment and dismay" due to the fact that he was one of the most liked WWE Superstars on the roster.
