Cody Rhodes had been working in AEW without an official contract since December 2021 and performing solely on a handshake agreement-style deal. These rumors have emerged in early January, later it was confirmed by Cody himself in a backstage interview after his acclaimed TNT Championship match with Sammy Guevara.

Now, All Elite Wrestling officially announced that Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi Rhodes parted ways with the promotion. Following that there were rumours surfaced on the internet that Cody might be moving to WWE and now we got another update about it.

According to WrestleVotes reports vis Twitter, a source has stated that an agreement between WWE and the former AEW TNT champion Cody Rhodes is most likely going to happen.
