WWE Day 1 Full Results: Edge Defeated The Miz With Help Of Beth Phoenix

The Rated-R Superstar Edge battled The Miz in a one-on-one match at WWE Day 1 pay-per-view. During the match, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix showed up and helped Edge to win the match.

From the start of the match, Maryse was at ringside and trying to distract Edge. At one point, Maryse slapped Edge in the face. That led Beth Phoenix making her return with new look and attacked Maryse.

Maryse retreated to the stage as Beth watched from ringside. Then, Beth Phoenix had words with The Miz, that allowed Edge to hit a Spear to Miz and pin him for win. The segment ended with Maryse and The Miz looking on from the stage as Beth and Edge posed together in the ring.
