William Regal Reportedly Released From WWE

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reported that former NXT General Manager William Regal is among the names of staff and personnel that the company released. It was the one of the most shocking name among the releases as has been part of WWE NXT for almost the entire duration of the black and gold brand and played prominent role.

William Regal wasn't the only name released recently. Other names that includes Scott Armstrong, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, Dave Kapoor (FKA Ranjin Singh), Ryan Katz, and Ace Steel are also reportedly released by the company. According to PWInsider, Sarah Cummins, who served as Senior VP of Consumer Products, is also no longer a part of the company.

WWE issued Fightful a statement saying "With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we've decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best."
