When Samoa Joe was first released from WWE, Triple H brought him back to the company before his 90-day non-compete expired. Joe also won the NXT title by defeating Karrion Kross. But Joe relinquished the NXT Championship just days before the relaunch of NXT 2.0, stating that WWE doctors wouldn't clear him to compete. Now, he once again got released by WWE.
