Reported Update Whether WWE Likely To Grant Mustafa Ali's Release From The Company

Mustafa Ali shocked the wrestling world by announcing that he requested WWE for his release via his Twitter account. Now, question is that will WWE grant his release from the company.

"I have a message that is much bigger than my dreams in pro wrestling. Despite my best efforts, I will not be able to deliver this message while working with WWE. Therefore, I am requesting my release from WWE," Mustafa Ali tweeted.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, someone higher ups within WWE he spoke stated that it's hard not to grant releases to talent right now for who all are asking for release due to all of the explanations of "budget cuts" over the past year. It's no secret that WWE has released huge number of superstars from the contract in 2021 with the reasoning 'budget cuts'.

Sean Ross Sapp also stated that Mustafa Ali was "well liked" among those he had spoken to in WWE and that "numerous talent" wanted to work with Ali after he moving to blue brand during the WWE Draft.

It also should be noted that WWE granted Toni Storm her release last month but she didn't announce publicly about her release request on social media. Now, It will be interesting to see if Ali making the release request public will hurt his ability of getting granted for his release from the company.
