Reported Update About Kairi Sane's WWE Contract, Possible Move To AEW

The Former Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane seems to be parted ways with WWE. Sane's WWE Twitter account is deactivated, and her account now shows as "former WWE Superstar".

Earlier this month, Fightful Select reported that Kairi Sane’s WWE contract was set to expire in February. But it was also noted that there was some chance that she might re-sign with the company, however, the general backstage consensus was that she'd be departing WWE.

Previously, Kairi Sane requested WWE to work a Stardom event in Japan but they denied it. Fightful also reported that there's "little to no concern" in WWE about a future working relationship between Kairi Sane and AEW.
