Sami Zayn Removed From Men's SmackDown Team For Survivor Series 2021

On this week's Friday Night SmackDown, Sami Zayn and Jeff Hardy had backstage segment, in which both had words. Later, Sami complained about Jeff Hardy to Adam Pearce and asked to remove him from the Team SmackDown.

Then, Pearce made match between Jeff Hardy and Sami Zayn with stipulation of loser will lose the spot on SmackDown Team for Survivor Series.

In a hard-fought battle, Jeff Hardy defeated Sami Zayn via pinfall and secured his spot on Team SmackDown and Zayn removed from the team. Zayn’s replacement was not revealed, but speculation is that WWE NXT Superstar Von Wagner may get the spot at the Survivor Series 2021.
