The Principality Stadium in Cardiff had the capacity of almost 75,000 people and has a retractable roof in case the area has bad weather on the day of the show, which is reportedly very attractive to WWE right now.
Last week, WWE had a short tour in the United Kingdom, Drew McIntyre had a huge win against Jinder Mahal in London Street Fight. Following the match, McIntyre cut a passionate promo to the crowd and proclaimed that he was going to do everything in his power to get the United Kingdom a significant pay-per-view. If Summer Slam 2022 takes place in Cardiff, it appears McIntyre got his wish.
