Former Universal Champion Accuses John Cena For Taking His High-Profile Match

The former Universal Champion Finn Balor recently had an interview with Mirror and discussed about several topics including his issues with 16-time World Champion John Cena. He stated that he wants to settle the things with John Cena at WrestleMania.

“I can’t think of a better place to face John Cena than at WrestleMania. I’ve got a bone to pick with John, the SummerSlam main event was mine, my name was printed on the contract, however, John signed it. There’s certainly an issue that needs to be settled between me and John and if we can do that at WrestleMania all the better,” said Finn Balor.

John Cena made a surprise return at Money In The Bank pay-per-view, later challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. But Reigns denied the Cena's challenge and accepted Finn Balor's challenge. During the contract signing, Baron Corbin attacked Finn Balor, then, John Cena came out and signed the contract for a match at Summer Slam.

However, John Cena failed to dethroned Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Summer Slam. Currently, Finn Balor set to challenge Tribal Chief Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WWE Extreme Rules on this Sunday.
