Reported Details About Belief Regarding Roman Reigns After Several WWE Releases

WWE released several superstars from the past few months including last year's Summer Slam main evented stars Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman and more. Now, we got some details about backstage belief regarding top names like Roman Reigns.

WWE have released many superstars from the last year and mentioned that budget cuts were the reason for releases. Some of the names includes Aleister Black, Andrade, Ruby Riott, Bo Dallas, Micike James and more. They also surprised wrestling community with releasing former World Champions Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman.

According to the Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, news of Bray Wyatt's WWE release led to shock and  disappointment among most of the talents. The belief is that only a few big names like Roman Reigns are safe from WWE.

"Wyatt, 34, who had spent his entire career with the promotion, was, according to sources in the company, told by John Laurinaitis that he was being cut for budgetary reasons. The news was a shock to most and led to a reaction that if they would cut him, who is safe with the exception of the tippy top guys like Roman Reigns," stated Meltzer.
