Adam Cole's WWE Contract Reportedly Expiring Soon

The former NXT Champion Adam Cole is one of the top superstar in black and gold brand but it seems that his contract is expiring sooner than expected.

According to the reports from WrestlingInc, Adam Cole's WWE NXT contract expiring following the Summer Slam weekend in just a few weeks. Giri stated that initially Adam Cole contract with WWE expired following The Great American Bash but he signed the short extension contract.

Later, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that there is a internal belief within the WWE that Adam Cole's contract was set to expire in December, however, it was ran out in early July. Luckily Cole agreed to stay with the WWE through Summer Slam and he might "re-evaluate the things".

On last week's WWE NXT, Adam Cole got the huge win against the former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed but he was attacked by his former Undisputed Era member Kyle O'Reilly. So, it seems that WWE is planning another match between them at NXT Takeover 36.
