On the Money In The Bank main event, Roman Reigns successfully defended his Universal Championship against Rated-R Superstar Edge with help of Seth Rollins, who attacked Edge. Following the match, Roman Reigns stated that now whole world can acknowledge him.

Then, music hits and returning John Cena came out. He make his way to the ring and went to face off Roman Reigns and made his "you can't see" sign to Reigns. John Cena poses in the ring and Money In The Bank went off air.

Following that John Cena addressed the WWE Universe and cut a promo that the world didn't get to see on their TV sets. Cena also joke about receiving positive reaction from the fans after getting booed out from arena in past years. He also promised to fans that this isn't a "one night only" thing but this is his "first night". He ended his promo by thanking WWE fans.
