Lana Revealed That Vince McMahon Rejected Rusev Request To Feud With Former WWE Champion

The former WWE Superstar Lana recently appeared as special guest on Chris Jericho's Talk Is Jerico Podcast and discussed about several topics including her original Survivor Series Plans last year. While speaking she also revealed the Vince McMahon rejecting Rusev request to face Daniel Bryan.

Rusev and John Cena had a incredible feud for United States Championship and at WrestleMania 31, Cena defeated Rusev and also ended his one year undefeated streak. Following that, Rusev and Lana wanted to work with another top superstar Daniel Bryan.

Lana revealed that they went to Vince McMahon and pitched an idea to work with Daniel Bryan but Vince McMahon had idea of splitting them up and they got shocked with it.

“We went to Vince the following week to pitch an idea to work with Daniel Bryan,” Lana said. “And he was like, ‘No, I’m splitting you guys up.’ We were shocked, we had no idea, and he was like, ‘No, no, no, he’s hated and you’re over. They love you. So you can go down to NXT or…’ I was like, ‘Wait, I don’t understand. Can I not be like a b****? I can get hated.’” (H/T: Sportskeeda)
