Finn Balor Challenges Roman Reigns For Universal Championship

On tonight's WWE Friday Night Smackdown kicked off by 16-time World Champion John Cena and laid the challenge to Universal Champion Roman Reigns for WWE Summer Slam 2021. But Paul Heyman came out and stated that Reigns will responds to his challenge later on the show.

Roman Reigns showed up on the final segment of the show. He told Cleveland to acknowledge him and also demanded people watching from the home to do the same. Then, he addressed John Cena and how he came back and put on “a nostalgia act” with the same clothes, entrance, and insults.

Roman Reigns also stated that he isn't motivated or inspired by John Cena and also doesn't want see him on the main event of WWE Summer Slam 2021 because he's answer for his challenge is no. Then, Finn Balor music hits and he came out.

Finn Balor went straight to the ring and stated that if Roman Reigns isn't interested in John Cena's challenge, then, he may be interested in Finn Balor. Then, fans started chanting "Roman Sacred" and Roman Reigns also accepted Finn Balor's challenge. WWE didn't announced date and location for this Universal Championship match.
