WWE Reportedly Planning More Releases Soon

WWE recently released six major superstars including former Universal Champion Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Ruby Riott, Lana and more. It was a big shocker for fans and fellow wrestlers too. This also lead to speculation that there is a possibility of Vince McMahon planning to sell WWE.

It was the first time WWE released a high profile Superstar like Braun Strowman, who is seen as future of the company, primarily due to his massive contract. Now, it seems that there is more names to come from the recent reports.

According to the Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Wrestling Podcast via CageSideSeats, we can expect more WWE releases soon. It was also noted that these cuts will be become 'a regular thing' As WWE felt that roster got bloated over the few years.

There has been the rumors of WWE probably up for sale but it was just a speculation. Brandon Thurston of wrestlenomics have spoken to several people within the WWE about the possibility of selling WWE and they stated that there is no such plans in the company.
