WWE News: Montez Ford Seriously Injured On WWE Friday Night Smackdown

On the latest edition of Friday Night Smackdown, Street Profits and Alpha Academy set to collide in tag team action but on a backstage Montez Ford and Chad Gable decided to settle the things in one-on-one competition.

Later at backstage, Otis attacked Angelo Dawkins and during the match between Chad Gable and Montez Ford, Otis brutally attacked Ford with big top rope splash. Following the show, WWE confirmed that Montez Ford suffered partial rin fracture and torn intercostal cartilage after Otis attack.

"Montez Ford suffered a partial rib fracture and torn intercostal cartilage, as a result of the attack by Otis. He’s being evaluated at a local medical center and WWE Digital will follow up with any up."

It's still don't know extent of the injury or how long Ford is expected to be out of action. It also noted that Montez Ford is being evaluated at local medical center and WWE will follow up more updates about injury.
