Reported Backstage Reaction About Recent WWE Releases, Talent Are Speculating A Possible WWE Sale

WWE shocked the wrestling fans with the recent round of releases. Total six WWE superstars were released that includes former Universal Champion Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Ruby Riott and more.

Following this surprising releases, there were also many speculations have started that there were talks of WWE is potentially up sale. Now, we got update about the backstage reaction to recent WWE releases and information about WWE being out up for sale.

According the Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, only few selected people in the company knew about the releases on Tuesday afternoon. Then, the company made calls to the talent and informed them about their releases in Wednesday morning.

This recent WWE releases were surprised many people at backstage and most of them inquired about the end game of the departures.

It was also noted that many among the WWE talent speculating that company might possibly could be purchased somewhere down the line. However, Fightful Select didn't heard any such information from any WWE officials.

Following the WWE Releases, former WWE writer Dave Schilling felt that this signs that WWE is up for sale and this releases could be the way to maximize the profits before it go up sale to get reasonable offers.
