Kevin Owens Time Off Is Reportedly A Storyline Related

WWE SmackDown Superstar Kevin Owens recently battled Sami Zyan in one-on-one competition at Hell In A Cell 2021 PPV. As usual they both produced an incredible match and at the end, Sami Zyan defeated Kevin Owens via Pinfall.

Following the match, The Prizefighter Kevin Owens took the Twitter and stated that he fought like a hell but now, he needs little break. Check the tweet below:

Now, it seems like his hiatus is related to a storyline. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio stated that Kevin Owens is taking time off but he heard that it was storyline-related.

“He’s taking time off, but I was told it’s storyline-related. So there you go.”

Few months ago, Kevin Owens involved in intense feud with Universal Champion Roman Reigns but failed to dethrone him as Universal Champion. Later, Owens involved in Intercontinental Title picture but Commander Azeez became a big problem for him.

On other side, Sami Zyan also renewed his rivalry with Kevin Owens and got the upper hand. Now, Kevin Owens is taking time off and we have to see when he will be back to WWE and what company planned for him after his return.
