John Cena Confirms He Will Be Returning To WWE Soon Amidst Rumors Of His Appearance At Summer Slam 2021

The 16-time World Champion John Cena last wrestled at WWE WrestleMania 36, in which he lost to The Fiend Bray Wyatt in Firefly Fun House Match. Following that he wasn't seen on WWE TV and now, there were many rumors about his return to company.

John Cena recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet and discussed about several topics including his WWE Return. During the interview, Cena was asked about his iconic jeans jorts, then, Cena said that he's very much looking forward to wearing jorts that's indicate he's returning back to WWE.

"You are always dressed so well every time I see you and I appreciate that. When was the last time you wore jean shorts?" Said Vliet

"The last time was not this WrestleMania but last WrestleMania. I can tell you this, I very much look forward to wearing jorts again, it's been too long." Cena replied.

Recently, it was reported Vince McMahon planning to make Summer Slam like a WrestleMania event and looking to bring back top names. It was rumored that John Cena might be returning to WWE to face Roman Reigns for Universal Championship at Summer Slam 2021.
