On this week's Monday Night Raw, Kofi Kingston, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley mentioned Brock Lesnar's name on WWE TV and that led speculation about the return of The Beast Incarnate. Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observed also noted that using Brock Lesnar's name prominently on WWE TV could be the setting up of Brock's return.
Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Wrestling Podcast confirmed that Brock Lesnar was on WWE early Summer Slam plans. Previously, he also reported that John Cena would also return for Summer Slam. It was also noted that Brock Lesnar appearance would helpful for ticket sales for the show.
''I would say expect to see all of the big names that make sense.”
“Lesnar was early on for SummerSlam plans they were trying to do something. I think the concept behind Lesnar is to justify what we’re gonna pay him [and] we need a more consistent touring schedule so we can build to this and those appearances by Lesnar will help sell tickets, obviously," said Zarian. The Brock Lesnar's last appearance came at WrestleMania 36, in which he lost his WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre. Following that he wasn't seen on WWE TV and later it was reported that his WWE contract expired.
