On WWE's The Bump Show, King Baron Corbin appeared as special guest and stated that WWE superstar should compete in the ring to win the crown but Shinsuke Nakamura snatched it from him.
This video clip was posted in WWE's official Twitter handle and Adam Pearce responded to it stating that he spoke about this topic with King Corbin. That lead to many speculations of return of King of the Ring tournament.

WWE held last King of the Ring tournament back in 2019 and Baron Corbin win the tournament by defeating Chad Gable in finals. Since then, WWE didn't held another tournament to crown the another winner.
