On tonight's Smackdown, Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews hosted the Nigerian Medal of Honor ceremony for Commander Azeez for his loyalty but it was interrupted by Big E and have words exchange between both them. Then, Sami Zyan and Kevin Owens also interrupted them.

Kevin Owens tried to attack Crews but Owens was took out by Azeez and Crews. Then, Big E came out and attacked Crews and Azeez. Then, Kevin Owens took out both Big E and Apollo Crews with superkick. Meanwhile, Sami Zyan came in and tried to hit Helluva Kick to Owens but Owens put him down with Stunner.

At the end, Big E delivered Big Ending on Owens and goes for another on Apollo but Azeez pulls him back. Later, frustrated Apollo Crews and Azeez met WWE producer Adam Pearce to complaint about ceremony interruption but surprisingly Pearce give him a match.
Adam Pearce stated that he trying to figure out his next opponent and revealed that next Crews will defend his IC Title in fatal four-way match. And opponents are Big E, Sami Zyan and Kevin Owens. WWE also made it official that next week it's Big E vs. Sami Zyan vs. Kevin Owens vs. Apollo Crews for IC Title.
