Two Title Matches Added To WrestleMania Backlash PPV

WWE announced two title matches for WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view that will take place on May 16th, 2021 in WWE ThunderDome.

The Dirty Dawgs, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are feuding with The Mysterios, Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio, for quite some time. Before the Smackdown goes on air, WWE announced that Dirty Dawgs will defend their Smackdown Tag Team Titles against The Mysterios at WrestleMania Backlash.

On tonight's WWE Friday Night Smackdown, Rey Mysterio set to face Dolph Ziggler in one-on-one competition but Dolph took a few shots at Dominik and that lead match between Dominik and Ziggler, which was won by Dominik Mysterio.

Tonight's Smackdown opened with Tribal Chief Roman Reigns along with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso for celebrations for last week's victory against Daniel Bryan. Jimmy Uso also made his return and joined with his brother Jey Uso. Cesaro came out to confront Roman Reigns but attacked by Seth Rollins, that led to brawl between them.

Then, WWE Hall Of Famer Teddy Long came out and announced that if Cesaro wins tonight against Seth Rollins then he would get Universal Championship Match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash.

The Swiss Cyborg scored a victory against Seth Rollins after some tensions between Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso and became the #1 contender for Universal Championship Match at WrestleMania Backlash. WWE also made it official.
