Backstage Details About Zombie Lumberjack Match At WrestleMania Backlash 2021 (Reports)

At WrestleMania Backlash, The Miz battled Damian Priest in a Lumberjack Match and surprisingly zombies appeared as lumberjacks around the ring but it was a part of promotion of Army of the Dead movie. Now, we got an interesting updated about the zombies Lumberjack match.

During the Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez discussed about the WrestleMania Backlash zombie Lumberjack Match. He reported that match was actually pre-taped and WWE put it on Pay-Per-View ever after seeing it.

“You know I was told that match was a pre-tape? Like, they taped it and still put it on television.” (H/T: Ringside News)

This Zombie Lumberjack Match got heavy criticism by fans and critics. Damian Priest got the victory over The Miz and following that it looked like zombies eaten Miz. It was also reported that The Miz also got injured during the match and will be out of action for several months.
