WWE News: Big Change To WWE Title Match At WrestleMania Backlash

Two weeks back, Drew McIntyre became the #1 Contender for Bobby Lashley's WWE Championship by defeating Randy Orton and Braun Strowman in Triple Threat Match and will face Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash. But tonight Braun Strowman also added to the WWE Title match making it Triple Threat.

On this week's Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman teamed up with Drew McIntyre to face Mace and T-BAR in tag team match. But during the match, Drew McIntyre accidentally hit Strowman and lost the match via count out. Following the match, Braun Strowman attacked Drew and hit him with a running powerslam.

Then, Drew McIntyre asked Adam Pearce for a match against Braun Strowman and he got it. Later, Braun went to Pearce and stated that McIntyre pinned Randy Orton to get title shot but not him, so, asked him to add to WWE Title match if he beat McIntyre tonight and Pearce accepted it.

On the main event, Braun Strowman successfully defeated Drew McIntyre via Pinfall with couple of interferences from Bobby Lashley, MVP, Mace and T-BAR and finally got the WWE Title shot. Now, it's official that Bobby Lashley will defend his WWE Title against Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania Backlash on May 16th, 2021.
