WWE Championship Match Announced For WWE Backlash 2021 | Sports Arena News



The Almighty Bobby Lashley successfully retained his WWE Championship by defeating Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37 Night One. Now, we are moving into WWE's next pay-per-view Backlash and Lashley's opponent revealed on this week's Monday Night Raw.


On WWE Raw, MVP came to address WWE Universe and Bobby Lashley's win at WrestleMania 37 but he was interrupted by Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre and argued for rematch. Then, Braun Strowman also came out said Drew to fall back on line for WWE Title shot.




Following that, The Viper Randy Orton interrupted them and said that he's done with The Fiend, Alexa Bliss and mind games of them and now, he's focused to become the WWE Champion. With argument going, WWE Producer Adam Pearce came out and announced Triple Threat match between Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and Braun Strowman to determine #1 contender for WWE Title.





On the Raw's main event, Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton and Braun Strowman and earned the WWE Championship match against Bobby Lashley at WWE Backlash on May 16th.



After the match, MVP came out and stared at Drew McIntyre, the, from behind T-BAR and Mace attacked McIntyre and put him down with double chokeslam, while MVP watching it all from the entrance. It looks like T-BAR and Mace joined Hurt Business.
