WWE shocked the fans with release of several WWE superstars recently with including some reputed superstars like Samoa Joe, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce and more.

Especially, Billie Kay name is unexpected as she was also featured on WrestleMania 37 match card, in which she teamed up with Carmella to participate in #1 contender Tag Team Turmoil Match. She also got huge fanbase for her comedy skills in WWE.

According to the Fightful Select report, several WWE superstars also shocked by the Billie Kay release. It was also noted that former tag team champion Billie Kay is well-loved person at backstage locker room, just like her tag team partner Peyton Royce, who was also released by WWE.

This report also stated that WWE Producer Kevin Dunn wasn't a fan of Billie Kay despite of her popularity in the fans and locker room. This report also claims that Kevin Dunn didn't get Billie Kay and saw a ceiling for her in the company. But it was currently unknown whether this was the reason for her WWE release.

Following her WWE release, Billie Kay issued a lengthy statement via Twitter. She thanked her fans, WWE locker room and also had a sweet message for her tag team partner Peyton Royce.
