After the WWE Fastlane 2021 pay-per-view, WWE announced that they came in terms to release Andrade. On the WWE's official Twitter handle, company posted this news and wished him best of luck for his future endeavours. Check the tweet below:

It was previously reported that Andrade was asked for his WWE release but WWE denied his request. Andrade also confirmed his he asked for his release from WWE through his Twitter account.

Andrade is in relationship with Charlotte Flair and they got engaged on January 1st, 2020. After news of WWE rejecting his release request fans thought that we might see on-screen pairing of Charlotte Flair and Andrade but this breaking news of Andrade's release shocked the fans.
