Big E retains IC Title, But Apollo Crews Not Done Yet | SportsArenaNews

After losing couple of Intercontinental Championship Match against Big E, Apollo Crews finally turned heel and attacked Big E. Later, Crews debuted with his new Nigerian Royalty character and demanded a Intercontinental Match against Big E.

After two weeks away from WWE TV, Big E returned to WWE Smackdown and called out Apollo Crews for the match but he didn't show up. Then, he issued a open challenge for IC Title which was answered by Sami Zyan. However, Big E retained the IC Title but Apollo Crews attacked Big E.

After that, Apollo Crews said that he accepts Big E Intercontinental Championship Match and that will happen at WWE Fastlane 2021 pay-per-view.

The match started with big brawl between them after the bell and Big E sends Crews out the ring with big spear. Then, Big taunts Crews and unloaded on him, then hits a big apron splash now.

Big E still taking trash to Crews but Crews slowly back in the game and attacked Big E. Crews hits continues German Suplex to the Big E and then a frog splash. The fight continued.

At the end, Big E rushes to corner but he hit to the ring post. Then, Crews went for spine out bomb but Big E blocks it and goes for Big Ending. But Crews blocks and went for roll up pin for 2. They tangle on the mat and Big E lands an awkward pinfall to retain out of nowhere.

After the match, Apollo Crews attacked Big E and hits couple of angle slams on Big E and stands stall in the ring.
