Ric Flair Botched Raw Spot With Charlotte Flair, It Wasn't Supposed To Happen
This week on Raw Legends Night. Ric Flair is one of the legend made a special appearance on the show. The Nature Boy was involved in backstage segment with Randy Orton and also been at ringside for Charlotte Flair and Asuka tag team match against Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans.
During the match, Ric Flair caused the Charlotte Flair's match by tripping her, where Peyton Royce took the advantage to pin her. It was bit confusing moment for fans, even Charlotte shocked by that incident.
On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed the actual situation of that confusing moment. He said that Ric Flair is originally set to trip Peyton Royce in the match but he accidently tripped The Queen and spot got botched.
Here what Bryan Alvarez told on Wrestling Observer Live: "I have just been alerted by the way for those of you who watched RAW that, in fact, the story was supposed to be Ric was trying to trip Peyton, and it was supposed to be an accident."
After the match, Charlotte was upset with his father Ric Flair, she instructed him to leave backstage and told him to 'stay out of her business'. Fans thought that it could leads to storyline but it was never planned to happen.
After the show, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair took the twitter to issue apology to his daughter and said that 'father and daughter's bond is unbreakable'. Check the tweet below:
