NXT Takeover: WarGames opened with match between the Team Shotzi Blackheart and Team Candice LeRae. Both the teams had brutal match up and all the superstars taken to their limits. At the end, Raquel Gonzalez pinned the NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai to pick up the victory for Team Candice LeRae.
But it seems that Candice LeRae might be injured during the match. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported that Candice LeRae had a X-ray and checked out, it was feared that her arm to be break. It was also confirmed by Triple H during the conference call.

Candice LeRae Injury occurred when Shotzi Blackheart landed a senton from the top of the ladder on LeRae, when she had chair on her arm. The fans also feared that she might got injured during that move and now it seems that have caused a injury to her arm.
After the show, husband of Candice LeRae, Johnny Gargano shared a picture of himself, Candice LeRae, Austin Theory and Indi Hartwell, in which we can see Candice had sling to her arm. So, it also confirms that she had injured her during the WarGames Match.

Johnny Gargano also won the NXT North American Championship at NXT Takeover: WarGames and became the 3-time NXT North American Champion with the help of Austin Theory. Candice LeRae also had a record of winning two of her WarGames matches.
