Mustafa Ali Reveals Daniel Bryan's Role To Become The Full-Time Memeber Of Smackdown

On the latest edition of Corey Graves After The Bell podcast, Mustafa Ali appeared as guest and spoke about various topics. He also suggested that WWE have used Rey Mysterio to get immediate interest on 205 Live and also spoke about how Daniel Bryan helped him to get rise in his career.

Corey Graves asked Mustafa Ali about how he felt when he was called up to main roster from 205 Live. He said that he was the last guy to get into 205 Live but was the first one to leave the show.

The Leader of RETRIBUTION said that he had pressure when they informed that you have to wrestle Daniel Bryan in his first segment and he also have an promo with him.

"I remember, I was the last one to be invited into 205 Live, but I was the first guy to leave. It was a lot of pressure as you just don't know. I show up to TV one day and they go 'hey, you're wrestling the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan on SmackDown and it's the first segment... and you have an in-ring promo with him, and this, and then the aftermath.' And you're just like 'you know I'm Ali, right?' 

The Smackdown Mystery Hacker further said that Road Dogg was Smackdown producer at that time and he clearly stated that it was just an opportunity but Daniel Bryan is gracious and made sure that he made an impact. He used that opportunity most and later they revealed that he was full-time member of Smackdown, said by Ali.

"At the time Road Dogg was producing SmackDown and it was very clearly explained to me - 'this is a one-time deal, you're not full-time on SmackDown, this is just an opportunity'. Bryan being as gracious as he always is, made sure that I made an impact. And that's another guy man, he'll never really confirm to me what happened, and then yeah I made the most of that opportunity and that turned into coming back into TV the next week and then being told there that 'hey, you're no longer on 205, you're a full-time member of SmackDown."

Mustafa Ali made his Smackdown debut on December 2018 and had feud with Daniel Bryan and challenged him for WWE Championship.
